Since its establishment in 2016, Athula Food Limited, the operator of the renowned Albatross Restaurant at Fermoy Golf Club, has been carving a name for itself in Ireland's food manufacturing and catering industry. Founded by Mr. Athula Kuruppu Achchige, a Sri Lankan-born professional chef with over 32 years of international culinary experience, the family-owned company has quickly become a trusted brand blending global flavours with Irish hospitality.

Mr. Kuruppu's career is a story of passion, perseverance, and talent. From his beginnings as a trainee chef in international star-class hotels, he rose through the ranks to become an executive chef, earning multiple international awards along the way. His journey eventually brought him to Ireland, where he set out to share his expertise by developing a range of curry and peri peri sauces infused with European tastes. The sauces were an instant success, landing on the shelves of the SuperValu supermarket chain across the country.
